  • Chemistry in the face of rural and urban health challenges. Examples : Potability of water, food products, hygiene products, control of disease vectors, storage and sanitary control of foodstuffs and products, chemistry of plant products, etc.
  • Chemistry in the face of rural and urban environmental challenges and challenges. Examples : Impacts of climate change, biodiversity conservation, energy resources, erosion, risk reduction, chemical pollution and nuisances, sustainable management of water resources, analysis and treatment of water resources and aqueous effluents, recovery and recycling of waste, chemicals and environmental protection, etc.
  • Risk management and good practice. Examples : Standards and regulation, Reach, labeling, precursors of narcotics and chemical weapons, HSE methodologies, etc.
  • Process and business development. Examples : From the laboratory to the plant, valorization of traditional products / processes and endogenous knowledge, production, storage, formulation and distribution, etc.
  • The needs of chemists and chemistry in Africa, development and dissemination of theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry. Examples : Initial training, advanced training, training of trainers, continuing education, human and material resources, decentralized and shared analytical platforms, productions, controls , publications, etc.
