My name is Adewale Adewuyi. I’m a Nigerian. Presently, I teach industrial chemistry at Redeemer’s university in Nigeria.
What is your main research interest?
My main research interest is to adress the Sustainable Development Goal number 6. I’m looking at the possibility of providing pure drinkable water in Africa. And as well I adress sanitation issues making Africa free of polluted water.
If you had just one criterium to propose to assess scientific excellence in your country, what would it be?
To assess scientific excellence in Nigeria, attention should be based on the impact of scientific endeavor in the society. Impact of science, research activities, in the society: how are these research activities solving human problems, that may be economical, social? And these might also need to address the present situation, like food scarcity, water and also health.
