Young Scientists

The GloSYS survey is to be taken by young African scientists all over the world

The global survey on the state of young scientists in Africa is going on. Take it!

An initiative of the Global Young Academy (GYA), the Global State of Young Scientists (GloSYS) Africa survey investigates the context in which early-career researchers today work, and the challenges and motivations that shape their career trajectories.

Any person who has completed a Master or PhD in the last 10 years is eligible to participate in the survey. It includes people working in academia, public or private businesses and those currently not working.

If you are in these categories, you are strongly encouraged to participate in the study.

In any case, you could share it with your eligible colleagues, students and friends.

The data obtained from this research will be used to develop policy recommendations that highlight the ways in which young scientists can be better supported in their research efforts and career development.

GloSYS is on Facebook and Twitter and you can also help by sharing the survey there.

Help to shape the future of science in Africa!
