Mamadou Gouro Sidibé: "We need seed money"

"In many countries, it is not easy to get seed money. It is the most difficult thing at the beginning. How do you pay for the first resources such as equipment, infrastructure, wages ? You need seed money, and you do not always have it. And everyone can not be funded. I was not aware of the existence of the French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD - France). I saw that and other foundations. But more importantly, the networking. A lot of people work in complementary fields. I, for example, need linguists. When I will go to Cameroon, I will need people who could help me with the different locals dialects. A lot of ideas have been discussed, now we have to look at them."
